Lock snapping: the 15-second break-in
Most uPVC and composite doors on Teesside still have standard euro cylinders — and with basic hand tools, a burglar can snap one and open the door in around fifteen seconds. No noise, no skill, no key. It's the most common forced-entry method in the North East.
